What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Operations team, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world.
In this role:
The Electrician is responsible for supporting maintenance of the facility and the production equipment. Completing tasks in a safe and efficient manner to support the reduction of downtime on equipment and minimize the disruption to production and the facility in general is a top priority.
Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and automation equipment in packaging, tabulating, blending, coating, and building systems as required.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system functionality.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Document preventative maintenance, repair work and spare parts to facilitate SOP requirements.
- Installing and maintaining the facility and equipment, electrical wiring, electrical panels, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
- Assist where necessary in other maintenance functions throughout the facility.
- Maintain equipment in maintenance shop.
- Practice safe health and safety practices when performing job responsibilities.
- Working in compliance with the company' s Health & Safety Policies/SOP's including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.
- Will comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP sensitive areas of Jamieson Laboratories Ltd. Facilities
- Assist where necessary in other maintenance functions throughout the facility.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
You bring curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to do meaningful work. You may bring experience in:
- O.S.S.D or equivalent
- Electrician License 442A/309A (Red Seal)
- Dual ticket as a 433A and 442A/309A would be highly desirable
- Certificate of Apprenticeship
- Demonstrated hands on experience and skills for troubleshooting and repairing different types of equipment in a fast-paced multi-skilled automated manufacturing/industrial environment, including PLC, VFD, Robots, and industrial automation equipment.
- Ability to read equipment drawings and equipment manuals.
- Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong verbal and written English skills.
- Available to work three shift operation and required overtime.
- Good communication skills with all levels of employees

Compensation
Jamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. This includes base pay, eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program, and a comprehensive benefits offering.
For this role, the hourly rate is $50.00/hour.
